Parry Henseler

Parry Francis Henseler our beloved father, brother, uncle, son, and friend passed away July 2, 2020.

Parry was born December 29, 1973 in Pinckneyville, IL. He completed the Henseler family as the youngest of four children.

From an early age he had a love for anything mechanical and learned a lot about engines and machines from his dad. He would tell stories of taking apart his mom’s sewing machine just so he could learn how it worked and how to put it back together. This love led him to his career of machining in his adult life. He was very proud of his work and has worked in the machining industry for over 20 years. Most recently he worked at Marathon, formerly Tesoro, refinery where he had 12 years of service.

Soon after graduating high school he moved from IL to live in UT with his siblings. In Utah he met Sharma Grover and together they had two children and also a step daughter who he called his own. His “Critters”, Ryelee and Conner,  were the love of his life. Parry was an easy going, soft spoken, reasonable, patient, and kind man who would do anything for anyone. We are very proud of the man he was. He was most happy working in his garage, teaching Ryelee and Conner his trade, tinkering in his yard with the quails nearby, eating at Virg’s, and most importantly taking trips with his Critters especially to the Palisades and to see his family.

Parry is preceded in death by his mom, Betty Henseler, who was his first love, his nephew Jarron, and many loving aunts and uncles. He is survived by his children Ryelee and Conner Henseler, Stepdaughter Angi Grover (Devan Harris), Dad Francis Henseler, Sister Kathy (Doug) Giacoletto, Sister Sheila (Roshan) Bhojwani, Brother Glenn (Lisa) Henseler, and many nieces and nephews.

Along with all the other things we have mentioned we will always remember his incredible work ethic, and the passion he had for his trade, his faith, and his children. He strived to be the very best dad he could be and in our eyes he succeeded. We “lava” you always and forever dad. Until we meet again.

Due to current circumstances a small service will be held in UT in the near future and also in Pinckneyville, IL at a later date.
