Linda Jackson

Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully and quietly on February 4, 2021 in Tooele, UT. Linda, (along with her twin sister, Lorna) entered this world on January 10, 1947, to Virgil and La Faun Hatch Pollock, in Panguitch, Utah.

Although her passing was unexpected for all of us, we know that things happen in the Lord’s time. We are comforted to know that her reunion in heaven with her daughter JoAnna, along with other family members who passed before her, was one of absolute joy!

After graduating from Bryce Valley High School, Linda moved to Grantsville, UT and worked for the Tooele Army Depot, before attending the then College of Southern Utah, in Cedar City. This is where she met her husband and went on to have 4 kids, whom they raised primarily in Panguitch, UT.

Linda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed her calling as Panguitch Stake Librarian, which she held for many years.

Her interests included many crafts and making chocolates and fudge each year at Christmas time, taking trips up to the mountains to see the multi-colored leaves in the Fall, spending time with her children, and she was patriotic to her core; truly proud to be an American.

Linda is survived by her daughters LiShell & Andrea, and Shanae (Brent) Bingham; son Seth (Sarah); grandchildren Devin, Ryan, and Annalise Jackson; sisters Lorna (Merv) Barnhurst, La Faun Marie Barnson Lori Dawn (Robert) Veater; brothers Greg (Lesa) Pollock, and Gordon Pollock.
