In Loving Memory of Steven Craig Neff
Steven Craig Neff, 68, of Grantsville, Utah, peacefully passed away on June 21, 2026.
Born and raised in Kearns, Utah, Steven lived a life defined by hard work, faith, and a deep love for his family. He spent many years as a skilled welder before later becoming a truck driver, from which he officially retired. His craftsmanship left a lasting mark, including his work helping build the Rocket at Lagoon and the Batman and Robin ride at Six Flags.
Steven found peace and happiness in fishing, metal detecting, and studying the scriptures. He treasured conversations about God and especially enjoyed spending time with his brother, Stan. One of the greatest joys of his later years was meeting his great-granddaughter, Delilah, whose presence brought an unmistakable light to his eyes. His daughter-in-law, Lacy, also held a special place in his heart and always brought a smile to his face.
Steven is survived by his two sons, Tommy Craig Neff (Lacy Scott) and Justin Michael Neff (Trina Neff); his sister, Rayola Brown; his brothers, Stan Neff (Cathy), Clairmont Neff (Leona), and Randy Neff; along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clairmont Neff; his mother, Joyce Neff; his sister, Vickie; and his brother, Marty. Following Steven in death was the love of his life, Ms. Debbie Keener Neff, with whom he now rests in eternal peace.
Steven will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering faith, hardworking spirit, and the love he showed to those closest to him. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the family he loved, and the memories that will be treasured forever.
Memorial services to celebrate Steven's life will be held at 2:00 pm on July 11, 2026, at the Veterans Memorial in West Jordan, Utah. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in remembrance, share stories, and honor a man whose life made a lasting impact on so many.
