Stefni Schelin Durrant returned to her heavenly home at the age of 63, on May 5, 2022 after a courageous five year battle with cancer. Stefni was born on February 4, 1959 to Evan Jon Schelin and Loa Campbell at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. She graduated from Olympus High School in 1977. She was sealed to her sweetheart David T. Durrant on August 17, 1985 in the Salt Lake City LDS temple.
Stefni enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She always had some kind of project going on, whether it was something for a family member or doing something different to the inside of her home. She also enjoyed making cakes for others, including many birthday and wedding cakes. Her grandchildren often wanted a particular themed birthday cake and she would spend hours designing and making the cake exactly as they desired.
Stefni was a very giving person and was always doing things for others. She always put others ahead of herself. She could often be found making costumes for musicals, theatre productions and high school prom dresses. Her life was filled with service to others.
Stefni is survived by her husband David; her sons, Justin (Mary), Chandler (Alexis), Ethan (Mariah) and Heath; six grandchildren; her father, Evan Schelin, and her brothers, Scott, Steven and Duncan; and her sisters Stacy and Emma. She was preceded in death by her mother Loa Schelin Campbell.
