Ronald Harris

Ronald Odell Harris passed away peacefully at home on June 9, 2013 with his family at his side. Ronald was born Mar 20, 1933 to Odell and Thelma Harris. Ronald spent his growing up years in Faust. He attended schools in Vernon and Tooele. Ronald served an LDS mission to Denmark and served a tour of duty with the Armed Forces, including Korea. He married Gracia Peterson Aug 17, 1956 in the LDS Salt Lake temple. Survived by his wife; daughter and son-in-law, Janae and Richard Young; 4 grandchildren, Tandy (Travis), Brian (Cami), Shawn (Samantha), and Lindsey (Eric); 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Neil (Pam), Ardell (Cindy); sister, Nola Sherrod; and sister-in-law, Karen Johnson; and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Gayle, children, Kevin, Shelli, and Joelynn. Services will be held Saturday, June 15, at 12:30 at the Vernon LDS chapel. A viewing will be held from 11:00 to 12:00 prior to services. Burial will be at the Grantsville City Cemetery. Services entrusted with Didericksen Memorial, 435-277-0050.
