Ron Todd Bennion

Our beloved Husband, Father, “Son” in law and Friend gained his heavenly wings on April 29, 2023

Ron was born on October 30, 1969, in Salt Lake City at LDS Hospital. Ron attended Murray High School and graduated in 1988. Ron was a master of all trades, a Master Mechanic, RV technician and Genius of all things! ‘If it wasn’t working, he knew just how to make it work!’ Ron was our ‘Go to Guy’. He had a deep passion for anything that had a throttle. He especially enjoyed the excitement of 4 wide NHRA Drags in Las Vegas. 

Ron loved the outdoors especially with his sweetheart ‘Jo’, he had a passion and love for camping, fishing, boating, and driving in his side by side especially with ‘Jo’ out in the mountains. Ron loved spending time with his family and friends. 

Ron has four beautiful children, Ron Married Lisa Welch where they welcomed their beloved son Dyllin Bennion in 1992, later Divorced. 

Ron Married Diane Velarde and they welcomed two beautiful girls Ashley & Cameryn, later Divorced. 

Ron was reunited with high school sweetheart ‘Jo’ in 2015 his forever soul mate and lifelong best friend were married in June of 2022 where he gained a beautiful daughter Jourdyn & Son in law McKay. 

Ron is survived by his loving and forever soul mate Camie ‘Jo’ Bennion, Daughter Jourdyn Grande (McKay Norton), Ashley Bennion, Cameryn Bennion, Loving in laws Don Broughton, Robyn Broughton, two stepbrothers Tom Ridgley and Joe Ridgley, many nieces, nephews, cousins and Furry ‘Pups’ Kai, Roxie & Baxter. 

Ron is proceeded in death by, Dyllin Bennion (Son), Brenda Gold (Sister-in-law), Grandparents Herbert and Violet Tracy, Donna and Joe Sommers, Uncles Mikey, Ron, and Richard Ruiz. 

May he rest in paradise and enjoy his ‘last dance’- Until we meet again- We love you Forever & Always- RTB <3

Ron Todd Bennion’s Celebration of life will be held on Thursday May 4th, 2023, 1pm at Saint Vincent DePaul Catholic Church - 1375 Spring Ln, Holladay, UT 84117 followed by a Committal at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, UT 84092. 

‘We welcome to this celebration those from other Christian faiths & religious/spiritual traditions.’
