Robert C. Whear, 86, passed away on Jan 29, 2012. He was born in Tooele, Utah on April 21, 1925. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Fred W. Whear and Amy Isgreen; sister, Geraldine Peck; a daughter Diana Lynn; two baby angels; and grandson, Jedadiah S. Smith. He was a veteran of world War II and served in the Army Medical and Transportation Corps. He was also employed by the federal government and involved in the planning and scheduling of all ammunition and chemical storage activities for the Tooele Army and Deseret Chemical Depots. He married Iva Brothersen of Magna, Utah and were together for 65 years. They traveled during the winter months for 20 years as snowbirds to Arizona. Robert is survived by his wife, Iva; daughter Colleen (Rick) Smith; sons Russell S. and Cory R. (Judit); 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. It was Robert's wish to be cremated. There will not be any services at this time.
