Marjorie Stam (Sutton), 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2016 in Tooele, UT. Marjorie was born November 6, 1925 in Grantsville, Utah to the late Claude and Emma Sutton. She graduated from Grantsville High School and attended BYU where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree, majoring in Sociology and a minor in Art. After college she served an LDS Mission in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Marge married Tom Stam and four children were born from this union, Randy, Stephen, Wendy and Gary. Marge loved working for Grantsville Elementary as a Title One teacher and later on as the Grantsville City Treasurer. She also served on several committees in the Grantsville area, including the Opera House Memorial Theatre and the Old Folks Sociable. She always enjoyed helping others, spending time with family, cooking, laughing and watching her favorite sports team, the Utah Jazz! She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, always thinking of others first. She is finally at peace in the loving arms of her sons Randy and Stephen. There will be a viewing on Thursday, October 27th from 6-8 pm and Friday, October 28th at 11am followed by a service starting at 12:00pm. Services held at the Grantsville LDS Church on 428 S Hale St, Grantsville, UT. Interment will follow at Grantsville City Cemetery. Services entrusted with Didericksen Memorial, 435-277-0050.
