Lora Gull

Our beautiful Granny returned to her loving Heavenly Father and her eternal sweetheart “Pappy” (Rawlin Gull) peacefully at home in Erda, surrounded by her family on July 7, 2010. Mother was born on June 11, 1918 to William Ernest Breshnen and Dora Wilson Delaney in Thermopolis, Wyo. She married the love of her life, Rawlin Charles Gull, on March 23, 1935 and was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1953. Funeral services will be held Monday, July, 12 at 11 a.m., at the Erda LDS Chapel, 323 East Erda Way, Erda, Utah with a viewing prior to the services at the church at 10 a.m. Interment following the services will be at the Tooele City Cemetery. Mother worked for Tooele Army Depot and Tooele Valley Nursing Home. She loved her Heavenly Father and was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many leadership positions and also served a mission. Mother’s home was always filled with friends and family, who also enjoyed many of her wonderful home cooked meals. She and her friend, Marjorie Weyland, started the first pheasant hunt brunch at her home in Erda. She also supported her husband in Minor League Baseball and was his biggest fan. She loved all of his brothers and sisters and enjoyed many wonderful gatherings with them. Mom’s greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren, her dearest sister, Edna Rydalch and her family, and a special son, Stanley R. Turner (Yvonne), Nevada City, Calif. She will be greatly missed by all. Survived by her children Cordale Gull (Carolyn), Erda; Duane Gull (Joyce), Oakdale, Calif.; Patricia Yandow (David), Tooele; Karen Johnson (Ed), Erda; Craig Gull (Barbara), Salt Lake City; Susan Parkinson (Lyle), Erda; Kathy Clark (Brad), Tooele.
