Lee Roberts

Beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully at The Gathering Place Sunday, September 4, 2016. Born June 8, 1926 in Escatawpa, Mississippi to Kizzie Gertrude Bond and Joseph Allen Roberts. Married Rosemary M. Roberts, March 29, 1947 in Wendover, Utah. He served in the Korean War as a water purification specialist, and was stationed at Wendover Air Field in the Army Air Corp. Retired from Tooele Army Depot. He later worked at Oquirrh Hills School and loved the friends he made there. He enjoyed time with his family, helping on every project that they came up with. He also loved time with his beloved dog Sweetie Pie. He is survived by his three sons: Lee C. Jr, (Sheila), Mountain Green, Utah; Joseph C. (Annette), Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Mark W. (Tina), Erda, Utah. Also, 12 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Marguerite’s Catholic Church, 15 South 7th Street, on Saturday, September 10, at 1:30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Tooele City Cemetery. Special thanks to our sweet friends at Canyon Home Health and Hospice who took such good care of him, most especially to Ellen, the “Lee Charmer”, Guy and Patty G!
