Kathy Bergstrom Tripp

Kathy was born on November 16th, 1956. Kathy passed peacefully on September 22, 2022. Kathy was born to Gary W. Bergstrom and Leona Coon Bergstrom. She was the oldest child, followed by Jeanne and Mike. Kathy’s mother passed away when she was 8 years old. Gary married Alora Croft and soon Kathy had two more little sisters, Connie and Lisel. She loved them all very much. Kathy graduated from Cyprus High in 1974. In 1978 Kathy married Daniel Owen Tripp and became a mother to Danny’s two children, Kristine and Brandon. They soon added 5 more children to their Tripp Tribe. Shannon, Dana, Skyler, Tiffany and Daniel. Kathy loved being a mother! She stayed home with her babies for 13 years before returning to work, where she made lifelong friends. Kathy loved to craft, paint, sew and bake. She loved to share these passions with her children and grandchildren. Kathy loved spending time at their cabin, Yellowstone, Las Vegas, fishing, hunting, drive-ins, and quality time with friends and family. Kathy had a kind, warm, and loving spirit. She loved Disney movies— Mickey and Minnie were her favorites.  She is loved by so many and will be missed by all. She is at peace and with family.

 

Preceded in death by Leona Bergstrom (Mother) Gary Bergstrom (Father) Daniel O.Tripp (Ex Husband/ Friend) Seth Bollschwieler (Grandson) Shannon Bollschwieler (Daughter) Daniel K. Tripp (Son) Christopher Buckner (Grandson)

Survived by stepmom Alora Bergstrom; sisters Jeanne Vranes, Connie Groves (Terry), and Lisel Bergstrom; brother Mike Bergstrom (Bonnie); children Kristine Buckner (Sean), Brandon Tripp, Dana Tripp, Skyler Tripp (Siobhan), Tiffany Tripp (Justin), and many, many loving grandchildren, friends and family.

 

Graveside services held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 1st, 2022 at Tooele City Cemetery (361 S 100 East, Tooele).
