Joelynn Harris passed away Friday, July 30, 2010 at Mountain West Hospital in Tooele, Utah.

Joelynn was born June 6, 1966, in Salt Lake City. She is the daughter of Ronald and Gracia Harris and has two special sisters, Janae (Richard) Young and Shelli Ann Harris.

What a wonderful reunion she is having with those who preceded her in death; her special brother Kevin, grandparents Archie and Lourraine Peterson, and Odell and Thelma Harris.

She has many loving uncles and aunts and one special Aunt Karen. Her nieces and nephews are: Tandy (Travis) Day, Brian (Cami) Young, Shawn Young, and Lindsey (Nick) McBride. She is also survived by two great nephews and three nieces.

Joelynn was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served a mission in Baton Rouge, La., from October 1987 to April 1989.

Joelynn graduated from Tooele High School. She attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City and was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and Deseret Camp in Grantsville. She loved music, poetry, crafts, and photography. Joelynn loved children and she loved life. Joelynn touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be missed by her family but their love for her will never be forgotten.

Funeral services will be held at the Vernon LDS Chapel on Wednesday, Aug. 4 at 12 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at the Grantsville City Cemetery.

Funeral services are entrusted with Didericksen Memorial funeral home, 277-0050.
