Jerry Thomas Edwards

Jerry Thomas Edwards passed away on the morning of March 2, 2024. He was born to T. Cliff Edwards and Margaret Knorr Anderson Casper on May 17, 1939. He married Joyce Callister. They were married for 60 years. They had 1 daughter, Wendy.

Jerry was a 67 year  member of the IBEW.  He was an Army Paratrooper.  He loved spending time with friends and family for holidays, birthdays, going to watch his great grandson play baseball, playing the lottery, going to Wendover, and going to horse races. He was president of the Grantsville Senior Center for 4 years.

We would like to thank Lucelly from Canyon Home Care & Hospice and  the Staff at Sandstone Millcreek for the care they gave Jerry. 

He is survived by his wife Joyce; daughter Wendy Durfee (Gary); granddaughter Amber Rose (Thomas); great-grandson Patton Rose; siblings: Karen Kelley (Dick), Karl Anderson, James Casper, and sister-in-law Susan Edwards. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmom June; brothers: Gordon, Richard, Robert and Randy.

A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am on March 9, 2024 at the Grantsville 7th ward chapel (415 West Apple St, Grantsville). Graveside service to follow at 11:00 am at the Grantsville Cemetery. Dress casual for services.  In lieu of flowers, do something fun with your family.
